The Laura wastewater pump stations are fully assembled, technically advanced complete systems designed for the reliable pumping of domestic and commercial wastewater. They are used wherever wastewater cannot be discharged by gravity, such as in low-lying buildings, collection points or decentralized drainage systems in residential, commercial and municipal projects.
The pump shafts are available with tank volumes of 3 m³, 6 m³, 9 m³ and 12 m³ and can be configured with one or two submersible pumps, depending on project requirements. As pump options, proven grinder pumps Grundfos SEG or KR1800 cutting pumps are available. These pumps are designed for the safe transport of wastewater containing solids and fibrous materials and ensure reliable operation even under demanding conditions.
The pump station consists of a self-supporting plastic tank, manufactured from 100 percent watertight, high-quality plastic and additionally reinforced with stainless steel stiffeners to ensure high structural strength. In most applications, no concrete encasement is required, significantly reducing installation time and civil engineering costs. For installations subject to very high static loads, concrete embedding is optionally possible.
The systems are equipped with guide rails and an automatic coupling system, allowing easy removal of the pumps for maintenance without entering the shaft. Stainless steel pipework provides excellent corrosion resistance and long service life. An integrated filter for fibrous solids reduces the risk of clogging and protects the pump hydraulics.
The Laura pump shafts are operated via the digital control unit L-A3X-K, which provides comprehensive monitoring, control and protection of the pumping system. Level control is performed using an electronic level sensor, replacing conventional float switches and significantly reducing typical failure sources.
Start and stop levels as well as alarm levels are set digitally. During initial commissioning, the system performs automatic parameter calibration. An integrated LCD display shows current operating data, pump status and the last five fault messages, supporting efficient diagnostics and maintenance. Total pump operating hours are recorded for service planning.
