The L-A31-K digital control unit is a sophisticated solution for the efficient and safe control of your waste water pump. It not only ensures optimum operation of your waste water pumps, but also provides comprehensive real-time information on all relevant operating parameters and any error messages via an intuitive digital display. The control unit replaces conventional, mechanically fragile float switches with a precise electronic level sensor that enables reliable monitoring of the water level. This ensures precise and flexible control of the pump.

Thanks to the level sensor, the water level can be set to the nearest centimeter. The control unit reacts to the preset switch-on level and activates one of the pumps when this level is exceeded. The pump runs until the predefined switch-off level is reached. The L-A31-K is capable of efficiently controlling and monitoring one sewage pump with a motor output of 0.75 to 15 kW and an input voltage of 400 V.

Protective functions and additional features:

• Motor protection: Integrated monitoring functions protect the motor from overload and excessive temperature
• Input voltage protection: The control unit constantly monitors the input voltage and protects the connected pumps from voltages that are too high or too low and could jeopardize operation
• Audible alarm function: If the maximum water level is exceeded or in the event of an error message, an audible and visual signal is emitted to allow immediate action to be taken
• Phase failure protection: The control unit detects a phase failure and prevents the pump from continuing to run in an unfavorable state.
• Protection against incorrect phase sequence: The electronic control unit checks the phase sequence and protects the pump against damage caused by incorrect direction of rotation
• Setting options: You have the choice between automatic or manual operation, depending on your requirements. The control unit enables precise digital adjustment of the switch-on and switch-off level
• LCD display: The high-resolution LCD display provides a clear display of the last five error messages as well as the current operating parameters such as voltage, motor current and level height (in cm)
• External error message: A de-energized contact enables the integration of external alarm or message systems
• Automatic calibration: The pump parameters are automatically calibrated during initial commissioning, which simplifies installation and enables fast commissioning
• Replacement of the float switch: The electronic level sensor replaces the conventional mechanical float switches and offers a more precise and reliable solution
• IP 54 protection class: The control unit is protected against dust and splash water in accordance with IP 54 and is therefore suitable for use in demanding environments
