The B-SP-X series from Bakalar-PumpS are high-performance deep well pumps made entirely of stainless steel. The production from stainless steel is an investment casting process, which makes the big difference to the sister series, the B-SP deep well pump.
These deep well pumps are designed for raw water extraction in the water industry and can be maintained in non-stop operation thanks to their highly resistant design. The cast stainless steel components of the hydraulics are characterized by their specific shape, which makes it possible to achieve high flow rates with low loads.
Franklin Electric motors are used to perfect the quality of these pumps. These high-performance motors are characterized by their exceptionally high efficiency and high torque. The motors are equipped with the so-called “Sand-Fighter” mechanical seal from Franklin Electric, which protects the motor against the ingress of sand and offers the customer a maximum immersion depth of 350m.
The pumps of type B-SP-X are optionally available in higher grade cast stainless steel, both AISI316 and extremely resistant stainless steel AISI904L are available.
