Control Unit MR-31

Control Unit MR-31

The MR-31 digital control unit ensures comprehensive protection of the pump, displays parameters and information on the operation of the pump digitally and informs the user of the cause of the fault in the event of a malfunction.

The MR-31 digital control unit ensures comprehensive protection of the pump, displays parameters and information on the operation of the pump digitally and informs the user of the cause of the fault in the event of a malfunction. The control unit can be used in two ways:

  1. For supplying water reservoirs with float switch control: The PumpS MR-31 control unit can be controlled with a float switch. In this way, the PumpS MR-31 control unit makes it easy to control pumps for supplying large reservoirs with water from a well. (e.g. water tanks in agriculture) The float switch located in the reservoir or water tank closes the contact when the tank is empty. The PumpS MR-31 control unit switches the pump on and supplies the reservoir with fresh water - The second float switch placed in the well (if the well diameter permits) serves as dry-run protection. At the same time, the dry-running protection based on the motor current is still active.
  2. As motor protection: If you have a pressure switch in the system but want to take care of complex protection for your submersible pump, the PumpS MR-31 control unit is the right choice. It is possible to switch the MR-31 via an external mechanical pressure switch using a potential-free contact. In this case, the PumpS MR-31 control unit serves as comprehensive motor and pump protection. It is also possible to install a PT100 module in the control unit, which is used to monitor the current motor temperature and thus offers the possibility of protecting the motor from damage. (For this function, it is necessary that the electric motor is also equipped with a PT100 sensor)
